Born and raised in New York, Robert’s education includes studying literature in Boston, art & architectural history in London and Paris and political science in colorado. Early in his career, he lived in Tokyo and Istanbul, where he worked with prominent architectural and development companies on specialized retail and hospitality projects. He frequented many workshops where he collaborated with local artisans on private design commissions. His diverse studies and early travel experiences exposed him to diverging creative influences that continue to inform his visual aesthetic and designs to this day.
